In the last decades, Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) have received a lot of attention due to their ability efficiently convert hydrogen and other fuels electricity heat. with different designs (planar, tubular, anode-, electrolyte-, metal-supported) been intensively studied in terms performance, costs lifetime. Still, technical challenges such as limited thermal cycling stability cost-efficient paths up-scaling need be solved make SOFC technology more commercially attractive. This study presents design, fabrication testing novel monolithic metal-supported aim achieve robustness high volumetric power density using cost-competitive scalable manufacturing methods. The preliminary electrochemical performances cells key parameters process that were optimized increase stability/durability monolith by factor 100.
